Rick has been helping clients develop and implement advanced planning solutions since 1979. He has been a featured speaker at industry events and has been published in financial planning publications. Rick holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from DePauw University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
In addition to serving as the firm’s mentoring partner, Rick devotes the majority of his time to working with asset management and financial planning clients.
Rick generously gives time to various community groups. His fundraising and volunteer efforts have been devoted to: Arts United, Boy Scouts of America, Court Appointed Special Advocate, Erin’s House, Fine Arts Foundation, Red Cross, United Way, and Fort Wayne Civic Theatre. He is currently board chair of the Fort Wayne Parks Foundation, past chair of The Nature Conservancy, Indiana chapter, past chair of St Joseph Community Health Foundation and serves as the Vice-Chair of the Fort Wayne Metro YMCA board, as well as a number of not-for-profit investment committees.
Rick lives in Fort Wayne with his wife, Penney. They have six children. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, literature, conservation efforts, hiking, skiing and wine. He is a member of The Chapel Church.
