Investment Adviser Representative
Kelly joined Phillips Financial in June 2011 to work with individual clients in managing their investment portfolios. Kelly retired as a Vice President of Lincoln National Corporation in December 2010 with thirty-five years of service. His work experience included a number of managerial and executive positions in annuity product design and management, investment funds management, and retirement plan products. Kelly managed Lincoln’s acquisition and integration of Unum’s retirement business in 1996. He was the Chairman and President of Lincoln’s proprietary variable insurance products trust for 10 years during which time assets under management increased tenfold.
Kelly received his Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Michigan and a Masters of Actuarial Science degree from The University of Michigan Graduate School of Business. He is a retired Fellow of the Society of Actuaries and retired Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
Kelly has been actively involved in the Fort Wayne community for a number of years. He has served on the board of directors of United Way of Allen County and the Fort Wayne Civic Theatre and is currently a board member and officer at Turnstone Center for Children and Adults with Disabilities. Kelly was born and raised in Fort Wayne. He and his wife Beth have two children and enjoy trips to visit their children as well as other travel, especially their annual family vacation in South Carolina. Kelly’s hobbies include reading and golfing.
